Help with a scene for a novel

Question
Hi I am writing a novel in it i have a scene where i have a 21 year old male who is 3 days in withdrawal from heavy drinking, his Dr had been monitoring him but has sent him to go into hospital as he is suffering from bad DT's and his heart was racing and his BP with very high. My actual question is what would the nurses and doctors do for him i hospital, the more details the better as i am hoping to describe this scene.
