There had been a second case of infection of poultry swine influenza

There had been a second case of bird flu virus infection A/H1N1. Infection of turkeys with swine influenza was detected on a farm in Ontario, Canada. On the first such case reported in Chile in August.

Turkeys in the Canadian province of Ontario were infected with influenza virus H1N1. The authorities said on Tuesday, no birds, no eggs from the farm did not get to the market. Even if a person gets infected from birds, the infection is minimal risk to human health, explained Chief Medical Officer of Ontario Dr. Arlene King at a conference in Toronto. However, she noted that this finding emphasizes the need for vaccination against seasonal influenza and pandemic influenza H1N1 all people working with animals on farms.

It Experts believe that the situation can be dangerous if the virus will be transmitted from human to animal or bird, and vice versa, resulting in a mutation of the virus occur, there will be new strains against which the person has no immunity. Fortunately, so far, that there is no evidence that the virus changed. Infection of a Canadian farm was discovered by the Office for quality control of foodstuffs. This is the second known case where the turkeys were infected with the virus H1N1. First time reported by Chile.
