men and women react differently on danger

men and women react differently to danger, Polish scientists have discovered from the University of Krakow.

The researchers used magnetic resonance imaging to determine which parts of the brain react to different images, which showed the subject. The study involved 19 women and 20 men.

It was found that when viewing the same images, for example, demonstrating the danger, the reaction of the brain in men and women was completely different. The men had been activated a brain region responsible for specific actions to be taken in this situation, and women stepped region of the brain responsible for emotions.

According to experts, more likely, that the danger of the situation of women confused, and the men will take concrete action to prevent negative consequences. Gender characteristics of the brain make it possible to better understand why the actions of men and women in the same situation may be quite different. The study is important for the study of behavior, for example, women in male-dominated occupations (army, police, security services, etc.).
